Church’s Department

There are several departments and specific ministries for the purpose of fulfilling and partaking in the 5 folds ministry of our JESUS CHRIST. Currently, there is evangelism (also called win-a soul) department, which is responsible for propagating privately and publicly the gospel of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. The group coordinates one-on-one or personal evangelism, house-to-house and public transportation evangelism. It also coordinates prison’s evangelism and organizes crusade. This group also coordinates the tracts and publications. The leadership of the department comprises of the department’s head, secretary and other sub-department heads.

The visitation department (an essentially follow-up department) follow-up new converts until they are established in the faith. It also makes such converts soul-winners themselves.

Prayer warriors department is essentially the ministry of intercessions, supplications and praying all prayers. It attends to prayer requests and prayer lines. It organizes prayer chains on issues (continuous prayer) or on matters arising. It also ministers deliverance if necessary.

Deliverance department handles all matters under demonology in line with the promise of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. It addresses, binds, casts out controlling demonic forces from environments, lives, circumstances, and situations in the name of JESUS. Members and leaders of this department must pay special attention to holiness ensuring that the devil will find nothing in them when he comes attacking. It organizes deliverance ministrations.

Ushering department ensures orderliness and decorum, safety of properties in the church. It handles and maintains the appliances and public address systems. It is also responsible for cleaning and tidying up of premises within and outside of the church. It oversees the maintenance of the church vehicles.

Welfare department is responsible for taking care of the needy within and outside of the ministry. It sows seeds of love to orphanages and destitutes.

Choir department makes music for the purpose of praising, blessing worshipping and thanking God. It teaches music and produces instrumentalists, publishes hymns for edification and perfecting of saints with the sole aim of bringing down God’s presences and making worshippers feel His presence as they praise God. It organizes choir programmes.

Teaching department is responsible for imparting spiritual knowledge that saints would be perfected in the will of God. That they may know Him is its caption. That they may know JESUS and His power of resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings. It teaches Sunday school lessons, foundational or new believers class lessons. It also handles children and teenage ministry at the moment.
There are other fellowships existent in the ministry such as the youths and singles fellowship, women’s fellowship designed to meet the needs and aspirations of members of these fellowships. It is also to teach and pass specific information and knowledge to members of these fellowships. Teaching the youths how to live purposeful lives and women to live virtuous lives.
